Thank you so much to everyone who nominated an amazing mom for our #CovidHero Mother’s Day contest. There were so many inspirational entries, we couldn’t choose just one. Huge thanks to @pearhomeorangeville for coming to our rescue and providing a second gift basket free of charge so we could honour two superstar moms. Check out the Pear Home smiles as they delivered the special gifts this morning for Mother’s Day.
Our winners are two local nurses: Jessica Flear and Tracy Abbott Nevin. We just couldn’t decide between the two. One is a single mom to two young girls and the other contracted Covid-19 while caring for her patients (she has since recovered!). Both women are the very definition of inspirational and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you do.
