PURPLE HILL

A Mature Neighbourhood With Large Lots in a Beautiful Park-Like Setting, So Close to Orangeville!

Purple Hill was one of the earliest settlements in the Orangeville area. The land was settled in 1833 by Seneca Ketchum and was the site of early taverns and inns. In the 1960's building began here on what had been Herman Hayward's farm, and continued into the 1980's. This is a highly desirable neighbourhood due to the park-like setting and large lots. Purple Hill Park is located off of Ashwood Drive, and the side north the neighbourhood borders Island Lake Conservation.

Purple Hill is a fantastic neighbourhood for a variety of buyers. Families with children of all ages will feel right at home, as well as families without children, and retirees. Though Purple Hill is located in Mono, it is so close to Orangeville for shopping and dining! It's located near the hospital, and close to Highways 9 and 10- perfect for commuters.
